The story follows a group of rebels, led by Curtis Everett (Chris Evans), who embark on a perilous journey to overthrow the tyrannical leadership of Minister Wilford (Ed Harris). Along the way, they encounter a range of characters, from the enigmatic and stoic Namgoong (Song Kang-ho) to the determined and resourceful Minnye (Lee Yoo-bi).
