In the early 1980s, Nissan was looking to create a car that would rival the popular Suzuki Jimny. The company wanted a vehicle that was not only rugged and reliable but also stylish and fun to drive. The 3 Japs were given the challenge of designing and developing this new car, which would later become known as the Nissan 80, or more popularly, the 8005 Top.
