Born on April 8, 1982, in Bangalore, Karnataka, Nithya Menon began her career as a playback singer and television anchor. She made her acting debut in 2005 with the Kannada film "Ranga" and later shifted to Telugu cinema with the 2007 film "Akkinipoyi." However, it was her breakthrough performance in the 2008 film "Gaddam" that brought her to the limelight.
