The movie revolves around the life of Surya (played by Suriya), a young man who seeks revenge against his father's killer. Krishnan (played by Vijayakumar) is a honest and dedicated police officer who is murdered by a notorious gangster, Perumal (played by Kota Srinivasa Rao). After his father's death, Surya sets out to avenge his father's murder, while also trying to bring the culprits to justice.
