Born on August 26, 1982, in Thrissur, Kerala, Sindhu began her acting career as a child artist. She made her debut in the 1995 film "Pallu Padama Paathuka," a Tamil movie. However, it was her role in the 2003 Malayalam film "Vishakha Express" that marked her entry into the Mollywood scene. Her breakthrough performance in "Vellittad" (2005) earned her widespread recognition and acclaim.
