The movie takes place after the events of the first film, where Po (Jack Black) has become the Dragon Warrior and is now a renowned kung fu master. However, a new threat emerges in the form of Shen (Jack Black), a former snow leopard who seeks to take over China using a powerful mind-control serum. Po and his Furious Five friends must join forces with Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) and the Valley of Peace's warriors to stop Shen and save their home.
