Based on the book series by Cressida Cowell, "How to Train Your Dragon" follows the story of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (voiced by Jay Baruchel), a young Viking who lives in the village of Berk. The Vikings of Berk are known for their dragon-fighting skills, but Hiccup's life takes a dramatic turn when he befriends a Night Fury dragon, Toothless. As Hiccup learns to understand and train Toothless, he challenges the traditional Viking ways and embarks on a journey of self-discovery and friendship.
