Our affiliated professors are based at over 130 universities and conduct randomized evaluations around the world to design, evaluate, and improve programs and policies aimed at reducing poverty. They set their own research agendas, raise funds to support their evaluations, and work with J-PAL staff on research, policy outreach, and training.

Part 5 is a poignant meditation on identity and letting go. JIA’s poetic lyricism shines as she grapples with the remnants of a fractured relationship: “You’re the ghost in my closet, whispering I forgot / But your shadow still lingers, and I’m not your ghost.” The track’s haunting verses juxtapose her signature ethereal vocals with a pulsating beat, creating a soundscape that mirrors the tension between pain and liberation.
